Happy Birthday Kajol: Why Helicopter Eela is the best choice for her comeback
Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kajol was quite a hit name in the 90s. Her pairing with Shah Rukh Khan too was appreciated at all times. She was often seen in Karan Johar movies and her most memorable role was 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'.
Blah! The actress has done many kind of movies, and she has broken many barriers, just like Shah Rukh Khan. And then she even worked with him, which probably became a hit with people because who wouldn't like to see two talented actors on screen?
It benefitted both Karan Johar and Kajol that they were friends as they gave cults like 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai', 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' and 'My Name Is Khan' to people all around.
But it is not fair to put Kajol in that bracket, especially when she has played an antagonist in 'Gupt', 'Dushman' and 'Fanaa'. The movies' credit probably goes solely to the actress for giving the kind of performance one wouldn't expect (of course a great one).
From the posters and promotions, 'Helicopter Eela' seems to be a role which is perfectly suited for Kajol - the one running a movie on her shoulders and looking in a grey shade.
More so, the movie is produced by Ajay Devgn which would be like a cherry on the cake if it works in Kajol's favour, which we really think it would.
