Watch: Shraddha adds to the Magik in Farhan-Arjun's Rock On 2 teaser
Mumbai: ‘Rock On’ which had released in 2008 was critically acclaimed as well as a commercial success. And Magik, the rock band, featuring Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Rampal and Purab Kohli, makes a comeback eight years later in the sequel ‘Rock On 2’.
The all-male band now has a female voice in Shraddha Kapoor and Shashank Arora is another new entrant.
The teaser of the film talks about how the band comes back together after a gap of several years, when Farhan apparently had settled in rural areas. He is seen in three different looks in the film, with two of them bearded. His character this time is seen motivating Shraddha’s confused character in pursuing her passion for music.
While the rock performances are on a grander scale this time, with some lavish cable-aided sequences, the band members’ fascination for scenic locales, jumps into water and conflicts among band members is retained.
The popular title track of the film can be heard and this time it has a female voice too.
Fans of the first film will definitely go for the second part releasing on 11 November.
