Aditya Pancholi sentenced to one year imprisonment in 2005 assault case
Mumbai: Aditya Pancholi was on Saturday sentenced by an Andheri Metropolitan Court to a one-year imprisonment in an assault case that took place in 2005. The court also fined Pancholi Rs. 20,000.
The actor had allegedly assaulted and threatened one of his neighbours during an argument over parking space.
His lawyer, however, immediately swung into action and he was granted an immediate bail of Rs. 12000.
Previously Pancholi’s name has also cropped up in other assault cases. His ex girlfriend Pooja Bedi had also accused him of raping her maid and his alleged affair with Kangana Ranaut had also created headlines previously.
His son Sooraj Pancholi had also landed in a controversy in the death of his girlfriend Jiah Khan and was booked for abetment to suicide, but is out on bail.
