Salman Khan to be the voice of Lord Hanuman in an animated movie
Mumbai: It’s no secret that Salman Khan loves children. He can often be spotted pampering and playing with kids. The superstar had even produced 2011’s ‘Chillar Party’.
Hence, the actor having lapped up an offer to be the voice of Lord Hanuman in an upcoming children’s animated film on the Hindu mythological God comes as no surprise.
The film titled ‘Hanuman Da Damdar’ is being helmed by Ruchi Narain. Salman, who had appeared in last year’s phenomenal critical and commercial success ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ as a staunch ‘Hanuman Bhakt’, apparently was intrigued by the ‘Da’ in the title.
Ruchi had earlier scripted Sudhir Mishra’s cult ‘Hazaaron Khwaishain Aisi’.
The movie, an adaptation of ‘Ramayan’ from the perspective of ‘Hanuman’, is slated for release later this year.
