Amitabh Bachchan’s security beefed up
The security at Bollywood star Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalows has been tightened after the Mumbai Police received a call saying that a bomb was planted at his house.
“Amitabh Bachchan has four bungalows — Prateeksha, Jalsa, Janak and Vatsa — and every bungalow was checked because it was not clear in which one the bomb was allegedly kept. However, nothing suspicious has been found so far during the search,” say sources in the police.
A caller had told the main control room of the Mumbai Police on Friday night that bombs would go off at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), and the Byculla and Dadar railway stations as well as at actor Amitabh Bachchan's bungalow in Juhu.
The Railway Police, along with other agencies and local police personnel, conducted search operations at all these places, but no explosives were found. Security has however been beefed up at all these locations.
