Manmarziyan trailer tomorrow: Will Abhishek Bachchan get back to hit game with movie?
Anurag Kashyap’s directorial and Aanand L. Rai productions’ film ‘Manmarziyan’s trailer is all set to be unveiled tomorrow.
The movie stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal and will also mark Abhishek Bachchan’s comeback on the big screen two years after ‘Housefull 3’ release.
If that hasn’t got you excited, wait till you hear more about the movie, which has often been claimed as Abhishek’s ideal comeback film.
Aanand L. Rai has gone on record to confirm to IANS that the film is ‘a complex yet beautiful love story with relatable human emotions.’
Interestingly, soon after the team unveiled two stills from the movie – one of Taapsee climbing on Vicky’s shoulders as he wore a quirky tee, and the other of Abhishek in a turbaned look, staring intently at something.
Abhishek plays a Sikh in the movie who will also be Taapsee’s love interest. Wait a minute, wasn’t Vicky paired with Taapsee? Didn’t the latest poster also suggest that?
This is exactly where director Anurag Kashyap comes in! We all definitely expect a high emotion-infused drama in this film, and are almost assured that it might just come true.
Looking at Anurag’s role in picking his actors, the director fits in perfectly. He has literally helped Nawazuddin Siddiqui become a star and is also mentoring Vineet Kumar Singh by playing his biggest support through ‘Mukkabaaz’. Both the actors have received numerous praises, and if one can remember, Vicky has already proven himself in Anurag’s film ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ previously.
Taapsee also is on a career high with movies like ‘Baby’, ‘Pink’ and ‘Mulk’ to her credit, and Abhishek, who has been forgotten despite doing movies like ‘Guru’, ‘Paa’, ‘Bluffmaster’ and a few others, could probably not have asked for a better director and producer, in short, a better movie than ‘Manmarziyan’.
The trailer comes out tomorrow and it will reveal what each character plays, and if reports are true and Abhishek plays a grey character, it might just become a turning point in his career considering he has shone in such a character in the past.
