Ram Gopal Varma decides to go digital now!
Director Ram Gopal Varma is all set to launch an “online theatre” through which he’s planning to release short films.
Through the channel, the director is planning to upload a series of short films — which, according to him, will sneak around the Censor Board’s rules.
The online channel will be called ‘RGV Talkies’. The director has been attacking the Censor Board’s rules saying the film certification body has become “irrelevant”.
“My interest in digital space is because I don’t need to restrict content for censor purposes and feature length requirements,” he tweeted.
He added that he is going to release films made by others too. “RGVtalkies will release erotic, crime, horror etc genres. It will not restrict (itself) to films made by me but it will release films made by anyone suiting my taste,” he said on his twitter.
He already announced his first short film titled Single X. He also informed that he won’t release films made on God and sports because he doesn’t believe in God and hates sports.
He dedicated his debut short film to the Censor Board. Meanwhile, the director also tweeted about the Pawan Kalyan’s media conference regarding the Tuni Kapu community meeting and the incident.
He doubted that the actor himself doesn’t understand what he speaks at the media conference.
“PK should see his Jana Sena launch speech on repeat mode to understand what he is before screwing it up worse than his brother,” tweeted RGV.
The director added that Pawan Kalyan’s speech was influenced by some person sitting next to him in the car when he came to address the media.
