The 3D trailer of Prabhas-starrer Adipurush was screened for select fans at a mall in Hyderabad on Monday evening. Fans turned up in large numbers to have a dekko of their favourite hero. Prabhas along with the team including director Om Raut, Kriti Sanon and Bhushan Kumar, watched the trailer amid huge fanfare.
Interestingly Prabhas’ signature phrase is ‘Darling’ and that’s how he usually addresses his fans and everyone. But this time he said ‘Jai Shri Ram’ (because of the film’s genre). And subsequently, all the fans in the theatre echoed ‘Jai Shri Ram.’
“I am not going to call you Darlings; I rather want to chant Jai Shri Ram throughout the film’s promotional activities,” said Prabhas to a euphoric response from the fans, speaking at the trailer screening. Videos from the event went viral on social media. A glimpse of the special gathering was shared by the makers, and it appeared to be an eventful affair.
Dramatic turnaround!
When the trailer of Adipursh was first released last year in October, it received massive backlash for poor Vfx. Everyone criticised that the Vfx of the characters in the trailer are more like cartoons. The Om Raut directorial which was supposed to release for January 2023, was subsequently postponed to June 2023 because the makers wanted to rework on the graphics and improve the product. The makers invested and spent a lot of time and corrected the Vfx of the film to a large extent, and eventually released the trailer of the film on Monday.
Fans have been going gaga at the new trailer and feel that the characters in the film are more realistic than how it was. Suddenly, there seems to be a dramatic turnaround, and the film is getting positive vibes!
