She was very upset: Sridevi on rumour about Jhanvi flirting with Ranbir at a party

Mumbai: Jhanvi Kapoor seems to be following her mother’s footsteps. The pretty lady will soon be making her Bollywood debut but before her big step in the world of ciname, Sridevi’s daughter, Jhanvi, is already a famous name on social media.

And as we all know, there are perks and cons to this fame, and Jhanvi isn’t a stranger to it either. Recently, there were several reports suggesting that Jhanvi ran after Ranbir Kapoor and was spotted flirting with him at a private party.

However, later, when Sridevi was asked about the reports, she had said, “But Mummy, I was with Gauri aunty (Gauri Shinde, director of English Vinglish) Jhanvi protested and I told her, 'Welcome to my world, if you want to be a part of it, you have to be prepared for all this'.”

Now, Sridevi, who is all set to launch her app, revealed in another interview that everyone has to deal with nasty comments and rumours and she has told her daughters to not stress over it as it comes with the package of being famous. “I’ve told my kids that this will happen. Whether they like it or not, there will be scrutiny. On social media and outside. I read somewhere that Janvi ran after Ranbir (Kapoor) at a party. She was upset about that news because that was not what had happened. I told her that she has to just brush it all aside. When you take the positives, you also have to learn to accept the negatives of this space too,” Sridevi told DNA.
