Mumbai: At the ‘Sachin Anthem’ launch from the film ‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’, singer Sukhwinder Singh performed live for the audience.
The National Award winner took charge of the stage and started off well, but few minutes in and the audience realised that he was just syncing his words with the actual song being played in the background.
The ‘Jai Ho’ singer created a blunder on stage by forgetting the lyrics of the song and tried the best of his capacity to hide his mistake, but the goof-up didn’t go unnoticed by the audience present at the venue.
Looks like Sukhwinder wasn’t prepared for the live performance, and we do not even expect him to learn the entire song. He could have easily kept a note of the lyrics with him.
However, the track in the film has turned out to be excellent, with music rendered by music legend AR Rahman.
Apart from AR Rahman and Sukhwinder Singh, also present at the anthem’s launch were master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, film’s producer Ravi Bhagchandka and director James Erskine.
‘Sachin: A Billion Dreams’ is expected to release on May 26.
