Rajkummar Rao who broke the Rs 100 crore barrier this year for the first time in his career with Stree seems to have a packed schedule. The actor who also had acclaimed films such as Love Sonia and Omerta releasing this year will return to the box office with Hansal Mehta’s Turram Khan with Nushrat Bharucha.
And that’s not all. The actor has other films like Imli with Kangana Ranaut for Anurag Basu once he completes the second part of his anthology. He also has films like the Vinod Chopra produced Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga with Sonam Kapoor and Made In China with Mouni Roy.
“Rao has been one of the most prolific actors in Bollywood. It does not seem that he even takes a break. He had six film releases and a web series in 2017, four releases in 2018 and will have five more releases in 2019. That makes it sixteen projects in three years while other actors are having around six. His film either gets him accolades for work or good returns at the box office. But he just needs to be careful about choosing projects now,” says a trade expert.
