Riteish Deshmukh is playing a baddie in Ajay Devgn starrer Raid 2 directed by Rajkumar Gupta. The two will have a high-voltage face-off for the first time on the silver screen.
“Playing the antagonist is always challenging. But when you have to face someone like Ajay Devgn, it catapults tenfold,” says Riteish, adding that he’s excited about the prospect, and looking forward to the “limitless fun off screen” too.
He also thanked south star Ravi Teja for attending the muhurat of the film.
Shooting for Raid 2 got underway last week. It will be extensively filmed in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
Raid 2 is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar, and presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series. The Panorama Studios production will be released in theatres on November 15.
