Did you know? Anushka said no to Sui Dhaaga and Varun almost would have

‘Sui Dhaaga: Made In India’ trailer has been unveiled and like it deserves, it has been winning hearts all over.

But did you know that the lead pair Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma had almost said no to the film?

They individually revealed at the trailer launch that they had their reasons to say no but the script made them say yes.

Anushka revealed, “I said no to the film when it was offered to me. That is because I thought I cannot play the character. I just couldn’t imagine myself as Mamta.”

Varun Dhawan on the other hand said, “I didn't have dates. I had signed ‘Kalank’ and few more films, but wanted to do ‘Sui Dhaaga’.”

He further went on to reveal his experience before arriving at the trailer launch. Varun added, “With trailer launch, it appears like I’m going to collect my result card. My father makes it look like I'm going on a war. But the best part is my niece also sort of gave me a blessing.”

Varun and Anushka look promising in the film which appears to be cute on the surface but has quite a message to convey.
