Kunal Kapoor beefs-up for the film Veeram
Mumbai: Bollywood actor, Kunal Kapoor, is known for his phenomenal acting skills and extreme dedication. The handsome actor has left no stone unturned to get the perfect look for his upcoming trilingual film ‘Veeram’, directed by Jayaraj Nair for which he has gone through a prodigious body transformation.
The dapper actor is sporting two different looks in the film, which required him to gain 12 kgs and later get a muscular shape to essay the look of a strong warrior.
According to an insider, the dedicated actor had taken a lot of effort to get the muscular look. A strict diet regime under the supervision of his nutritionist was followed and extra care was given on Kunal’s calorie intakes.
Talking about it, Kunal Kapoor says, “I was training like a beast for almost six months. I have always been fit but this is the fittest and most muscular I have ever been. I play a warrior in the film and I wanted to make sure I felt and looked like one.”
The multilingual movie which is adapted from Shakespeare’s classic Macbeth, has reportedly found a place in the long list awaiting nomination in the Best Film category, after finding a spot to compete in the Best Original Song section in this year’s Oscars.
Kunal is portraying the character Chandu Chekavar, the infamous warrior in the film. Apart from Veeram, Kunal will also be soon in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s Raagdesh.
