Angrezi Medium to Re-release in India due to Theatre lockdown amid coronavirus fear

Director Homi Adajania who directed Irrfan starrer 'Angrezi Medium' took to his Instagram to make an announcement about the Re-release of the film as cinema halls shut across India amidst the global outbreak of the novel coronavirus.

Angrezi Medium is led by Irrfan Khan and also stars Radhika Madan, Kareena KapoorKhan, Dimple Kapadia and Ranveer Shorey in pivotal roles.

With theatres in parts of the country under lockdown, shootings stalled and promotional events and interviews on hold due to the spread of coronavirus, the television and film industries are facing huge losses say experts.

Its not just Angrezi Medium which is facing the brunt of coronavirus, but also Rohit Shetty postponed the release of his upcoming film 'Sooryavanshi' starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

The number of coronavirus cases touches 83 in India as of now.
