Hollywood return Priyanka too good for IIFA? Here's her perfect response!

Mumbai: The global star Priyanka Chopra, who was occupied with too many things on the professional front in the West, has flown back to India for a brief holiday. The actress is here to celebrate her 35th birthday on July 18 with her family and friends.

However, Bollywood's most prestigious award function is taking place on the same day, (July 18) in New York, and the entire fraternity is in attendance at NYC. Whereas, Priyanka has taken the reverse turn.

When quizzed about it, the actress said,

"I do everything abnormal. I am here for my birthday with my friends and family. IIFA fell at the same time, so I deserve a holiday with my family."

Things took a sour turn, when a journalist put forward the accusations made on Priyanka of missing IIFA because she thinks of herself more of a Hollywood star and not a Bollywood celebrity anymore.

To which, the actress, who was in a very cheerful mood, lost her cool and set the record straight, "Do all the stars attend all the awards every year. It's my birthday man, that's it. Don't overthink."
