Revealed: Priya Prakash Varrier was never even considered for Ranveer's Simmba

Mumbai: Priya Prakash Varrier caught everyone’s attention and became instantly viral thanks to her expressions in ‘Oru Adaar Love’ song and teaser.

Varrier was interviewed soon after and she expressed her desire to work in Bollywood, especially with Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

Few days later, news reports suggested that Priya has been cast for Ranveer Singh’s ‘Simmba’, but the truth might be that she was never even in consideration for the project.

A source close to the film revealed to BollywoodLife, “Priya Prakash Varrier might have caught everyone’s attention, but she will not be a part of ‘Simmba’. In fact, she was not even in the running for the leading lady’s role, so we don’t know where these rumours are coming from. An announcement concerning the actress will be made soon.”

Not only Varrier, actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and even Shraddha Kapoor has been linked to the project.
