'I lock myself in the bathroom and cry it all out': Shah Rukh on film failures

He also said that he would like his daughter Suhana to help the acid attack survivors.

Ever since Shah Rukh Khan was invited to the 60th San Francisco International Film Festival (SFIFF), there was total excitement amongst his fans.

The festival, which also screened My Name is Khan, gave a tribute to Shah Rukh Khan for his contribution to the world of cinema, that was live streamed on Twitter.

SRK who shared the stage with Hollywood director-producer Brett Ratner spoke about his son Aryan, how he was called ugly in the initial phase of his career and how he deals with failures. “Whenever I am feeling sad, especially when my films do not perform well, I lock myself in the bathroom and cry it all out. It is ok to cry for both men and women. Get it out of your system,” he said.

He also said that he would like his daughter Suhana to help the acid attack survivors. “The acid attack victims are the most mistreated. I want to look after them and I believe they are the most beautiful women in the world, and this is one thing I want my daughter to take forward,” he said, and expressed his desire of rehabilitating them, finding them the right job so that they don’t depend on anyone.
