I don't find any difference in hosting reality show, says Salman
The King of Hosts — none other than Salman Khan — will host Bigg Boss Season 2 OTT for the first time. The actor talked to the media, sitting on the rooftop of a bus, about his assignment.
Q) You are known to be against depicting on screen anything that is against Indian culture. In the light of OTT content being unfiltered and uncensored, will there be a barrier in the Big Boss Season 2 show?
Salman: I am the barrier! Also, itna bhi uncensored aur unfiltered na ho. Hoga toh main khud control kar lunga uss ko. OTT content, especially for reality show, it should be shown in accordance with our culture. I will see that it doesn’t go overboard. That’s why I am part of this OTT show.
Q) What made you choose to host the OTT version of the show?
Yes, this is the first time I will be hosting reality show on OTT...ab junta bhi khelegi iss mein toh unko bhi pata chalega ander kya hota hai. (Cracking a joke in his typical style) Also, I had to be a part of this Season 2 because Karan [Johar]and Farah (Khan) weren’t available. They are busy, so I have taken it up. I also take up hosting because it helps the growth of the contestants. They become so popular on the work front after the show. Offers keep pouring in for them. I decided to host the OTT Season 2 for this important reason.
Q) What changes will you bring to your hosting style on OTT?
I don’t find any difference in hosting any reality show — be it TV or OTT. The content of OTT that you are referring to...woh toh main waise bhi nahi karta. Woh mujhe pasand bhi nahi hai. I think better guidelines have been incorporated on OTT. Therefore there has been a lot of improvement on the content.
