Abhishek Bachchan begins his Life In A Metro sequel journey with Anurag Basu

Abhishek Bachchan has made his comeback in Bollywood with Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan, where everything, including his own acting, was well-acclaimed critically.

The actor has now begun working on another project with another Anurag i.e. Barfi director Anurag Basu.

Abhishek wrote, “On the auspicious day of Dushera we embark on a new journey. I hope Anurag is still smiling after I give my shot and the day is done too!”

Anurag Basu was mostly known for collaborating with Ranbir Kapoor. Together they gave a memorable hit in Barfi, but everything changed last year after Jagga Jasoos was termed a disaster and thereon, Rishi Kapoor blamed Anurag for the movie’s failure, leading to bitterness between Ranbir and Basu.

While Ranbir and Anurag have confirmed that they would work on Kishore Kumar biopic, some reports claim the project altogether might be scrapped.

Anyhow, Abhishek and Anurag Basu’s collaboration looks promising, as junior Bachchan rightly claims through a smiling Basu.
