Fans’ speculation about a romance between Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal seemed to gain ground with rumours of a roka ceremony for them, but a spokesperson for the actress has said there’s no truth in these reports.
The spokesperson told media that no such pre-wedding ceremony had taken place. “She is leaving for the Tiger 3 shoot soon,” quoted the spokesperson.
Rumours of the two actors being in a relationship have been circulating for a while. They were fanned when Katrina and Vicky arrived together for the screening of Shershaah. Some news portals on social media had claimed that a roka ceremony was scheduled.
There were other ‘signs’ too. Earlier this year, the actress had revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19, a day after Vicky was diagnosed with the infection. In 2019, Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif were spotted on a dinner date in Mumbai. In 2018, on Karan Johar’s talk show Koffee With Karan, Katrina had said she would “look good with Vicky Kaushal on screen” and Vicky pretended to swoon when he was told about her comment!
Vicky Kaushal will be seen next in Aditya Dhar’s The Immortal Ashwatthama. He also has Sardar Udham Singh, Sam Bahadur, The Great Indian Family and Mr Lele lined up.
