Would you be okay sleeping with the actor': Radhika Apte's casting couch experience

Mumbai: Bollywood’s powerhouse of talent, Radhika Apte, who is eagerly waiting for the domestic release of her internationally acclaimed movie ‘Parched’, has revealed to an entertainment website, Bollywoodlife.com, that she is not immune to casting couch.

The ‘Shor in the City’ actress said,” I think once an actor in South called me on my room phone and tried to get flirtatious and I just was so rude to him. I think he fought with me later on.”

Radhika, who, in the much hyped movie ‘Parched’, plays the role of a simple village girl caught between the need to conform to the norms of the society and her inner desire to gain complete freedom, is not someone who would succumb to pressure.

She added, “I got a call and they said ‘they’re doing this film in Bollywood and I want you to have a meeting with them. But would you be okay sleeping with that person?’ And I laughed! I said you’re so funny, you’re very funny and I said no I’m not. Ask him to go to hell.”
