Not many are aware that just two days before the shooting of Zorawar was to conclude, Yo Yo Honey Singh fell ill. The climax of the film had not yet been filmed. The recovering actor appeared for the filming of the climax, to much appreciation.
Zorawar’s director, Vinnil Markan, who directed Honey’s first music video, impressed with Honey’s talent, had insisted on him to act in the film. Discussing the singer’s illness, he said, “Two days of the shoot were left and we had to shoot the climax of the film. Yes, when I got to know about Honey’s illness, initially I was scared about what would happen, about how we would finish the film. But for me, it was more important for him to recover and his health to improve. I was meeting him regularly when he was unwell, and as he recovered he came and shot the climax.”
“Honey had already finished the dubbing, so there wasn’t much left to be done. But still, he had not recovered fully when he came to shoot for the climax. So we were very careful because his health was the priority. The first song of our film launched yesterday, and I am very excited. Honey has sung the song with Jasmine Sandlas whom he had collaborated with for the ‘Devil’ song in Kick,” he explained.
