Here's how Sushant Singh Rajput bagged The Fault In Our Stars remake

Sushant Singh Rajput is excited to be working with Mukesh Chhabra once again on an Indian adaption of the 2014 Hollywood hit film The Fault In Our Stars. The actor and the director go way back.

“Sushant and Mukesh share a great bond. It was Mukesh who picked him up when he was working on Pavitra Rishta got him into films by having him audition for Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che, and Sushant is forever indebted to him for that. So when Mukesh and Sushant had a discussion regarding this film, Sushant immediately agreed to do it. He does not forget old friends. He had some issues with the script and the schedule of Fitoor, and the role ended up going to Aditya Roy Kapur, but Sushant came back to do Kedarnath with Abhishek when Fitoor tanked,” a source says.

Apart from Kedarnath, Sushant has the releases of Son Chiraiya and Drive to look forward to in the near future.
