Akshay Kumar tried his luck in Tamil cinema by debuting in 2.O as the antagonist to Rajinikanth, one of the biggest stars of south cinema. The latest buzz is another Bollywood biggie on a similar path is Shah Rukh Khan. He would be making his debut with a Vijay movie tentatively titled Thalapathy 63. There were rumours that the Zero actor was to come on board with a cameo in the Atlee-directed film. Close sources now reveal that the Badshah of B’town will be seen as the villain who appears towards the climax in Thalapathy 63.
SRK’s portions need four to five days of shooting and the makers are said to be contemplating whether to can do those scenes in Chennai or Mumbai. The movie has Nayanthara as Vijay’s romantic pair, with Vivek and Yogi Babu on board for comedy. AR Rahman collaborates with Vijay consecutively for the third time after Mersal and Sarkar.
The buzz is that Thalapathy 63, bankrolled by AGS Entertainment, revolves around women’s soccer and Vijay will be seen as a coach with 16 girls trained in football making their foray into silver screen. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff has already been signed on for a crucial character and is playing a role with negative shades. One may recall SRK and Atlee were spotted spending time together at a recent IPL match between KKR and CSK in Chennai and later the IPL team owner also made a quick visit to Atlee’s office.
