In what appears to be a rather intimate and solemn family moment, Prakash Raj remarried Pony Verma, his wife of 11 year, on their wedding anniversary on 24 August. The actor then uploaded a few pictures from the ‘ceremony’ on his Twitter page, with the caption saying, “We got married again tonight..because our son #vedhant wanted to witness it. Family moments #bliss [sic].”
The wedding celebrations also had the actor’s daughters from his previous marriage to Lalitha Kumari — Meghana and Pooja — joining in.
Before uploading his re-wedding pictures with his son and daughters, Prakash had, incidentally, posted a picture of him and Pony smiling at each other during their wedding 11 years ago. His caption for that post read, “It turned out so right.. for strangers in the night” .. thank you my darling wife .. for being a wonderful friend.. a lover and a great co traveller in our life together #happyweddinganniversary [sic].”
