Priyanka Chopra made a flying stop to India for about four days, and managed to spend some quality time with her family. She also kept her work in the loop, and read a few scripts while she was at it.
According to our sources, ace filmmaker Shonali Bose’s script was sent to Priyanka and it has managed to wow her.
“Priyanka had been reading several scripts and seems to have liked Shonali’s. However, she’s not signed on the dotted line yet, while she seems keen on working on the project,” says the source.
Shonali is quite the force to reckon with, and has movies like Margarita with a Straw and Amu to her name. Her movies usually run high on emotions and great content. It would be interesting to see how she works with PeeCee.
Meanwhile, Priyanka is also reportedly in talks for doing the Kalpana Chawla biopic. It was believed that PeeCee would be making an official announcement of the Bollywood movies she’s working on, during her stay in India.
