Deepika Padukone has been away from the Hindi film industry for a while, filming her Hollywood movie in the US and Canada. The actress has spent close to two months shooting for XXX with Hollywood star Vin Diesel.
When quizzed about her experience of shooting with Vin, Deepika couldn’t stop gushing about him and his generosity. “It was amazing. Like I’ve always said, it is the experiences that make movies special and Vin was a huge part of making that experience special for me,” she said. “It can be very unnerving when you move into a foreign land and when you are working with new people in a new environment, but he was with me on every step, making sure I was comfortable and making sure everything went off smoothly, not just for me but for the entire team. He’s one of the most generous human beings I have met.”
Closer home in Bollywood, buzz is that Deepika will be reuniting with Sanjay Leela Bhansali once again after Bajirao Mastani. While she has not mentioned which movie she will be starting next, when asked about her forthcoming project, Deepika simply said, “I start in September.”
