Tapsee's busy schedule to delay film projects?
Director Anubhav Sinha, who has joined hands with wife Ratna Sinha for the latter’s directorial debut, may have to wait before the film takes off. Reason? Lead actress Taapsee Pannu is looking at a busy year with back-to-back films.
She has wrapped up Shoojit Sircar’s Pink, a bilingual film with Rana Daggubati titled Ghazi as well as Tadka, where she stars alongside Ali Fazal. She is now gearing up for two more films — Neeraj Pandey’s next and Sujoy Ghosh’s Reunion. Meanwhile Rajkummar Rao, the film’s male lead will start the shoot of Hansal Mehta’s next Simran.
Anubhav ideally wanted to start shooting his film in November since it is a film set in snow-clad mountains. He wanted it to take off immediately after wrapping up his next project Tum Bin 2. But given that both his lead actors seem to be busy this year, that may not be a feasible idea.
When contacted, the filmmaker didn’t seem too keen to talk about the untitled film. He said, “I don’t want to say anything about this. The film is in its scripting stage still and this is not the right time to talk about it.”
