Even though his much anticipated Ki and Ka is yet to hit the screens, it seems that director R. Balki has already started working on his next box office offering. If sources are to be believed, he is in talks with Amitabh Bachchan and Kajol for his next, that is scheduled to go on the floors from June or July this year.
A source from the industry said, “Balki is like family to the Bachchans.
After Shamitabh, both Jayaji and Amitabhji would call him and tell him to get started with another project. Balki had said then that he’d be happy to do it if the two played cameo roles in it. From what we know, they said they’d be happy to do so.”
Balki is known for his inclination for working with the same set of people — Ilayaraja, Amitabh Bachchan and cinematographer PC Sreeram. His only comment however, when contacted to confirm the story was, ‘not true’.
