Sanya Malhotra: The Pataakha who is ready to explode with each performance
Sanya Malhotra rose to fame after the blockbuster success of Dangal, so much so she got termed the Dangal girl.
But this lady did not take the conventional route which her counterpart Fatima Sana Shaikh did, by choosing to work with Aamir Khan again, this time in Thugs Of Hindostan.
Sanya carved her own way, ensuring her upcoming roles - be it in Pataakha or Badhaai Ho, are variably different from what she played in Dangal.
Her latest release Pataakha has got the actress immense love and appreciation for her mind-blowing, bold performance.
Beginning her career with an unconventional avatar with short hair, is a bold step very few would have the daring to take up. She however did that with finesse as much as impressing in her rustic and rooted look in Pataakha with a surprise element involved.
Badhaai Ho features Sanya in an urban avatar for the first time showcasing the versatility through various films. This film sees her as the normal girl dressed in casuals and dresses, preparing for her wedding, who believes and is quite okay with the fact that parents can have sex too!
And not just in acting, Sanya has even been praised for her dancing skills, which is quite noticeable in the recently released song 'Morni' from 'Badhaai Ho'.
Being just a film old, Sanya Malhotra has become one of the most promising faces of Bollywood thanks to the diversity in her roles.
On the work front, Sanya will be seen next opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in Badhaai Ho and Ritesh Batra's film 'Photographer' alongside Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
