While rumors were flying around about his relationship with Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan recently used Instagram to post something new, thereby increasing suspense by turning off the comments section. He posted a video of highlights from the Paris Olympics, which included Neeraj Chopra’s javelin throw silver medal win. The disabled comments feature caught everyone’s attention though—something that Abhishek hadn’t done since September 2022.
Abhishek wrote this while sharing a collage of memories from the 2024 Paris Olympics: “It was amazing experiencing #parisolympics2024 with my friends at #Omega. We have been working together for about 18 years and their minute attention to detail and timekeeping always amazes me. You could feel the energy across town and in particular in the stadiums. Then to be able to see our very own @neeraj____chopra was just icing on the cake. Seeing our dear tricolour in that stadium made us so proud!!! Felt like….Paradise.”
This followed closely Abhishek's earlier statement online regarding his marriage, which had confused fans. It was said back in 2016 during the premiere of Aishwarya’s Sarbjit when someone asked him about their relationship not going well. Accordingly, Abhishek responded like this: “I don’t have to say anything to you all about that.” Also, he showed his wedding ring saying he was ‘still married’ and admitted that the media had blown things out of proportion.
Abhishek has been married to Aishwarya for 17 years and they have a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan together. As a result of recent public appearances, there is speculation if everything is okay between them.
