Mahavatar and Chhava are set to showcase his histrionic talents

Vicky Kaushal’s first look as an eternal warrior, Chiranjeevi Parashurama, in Mahavatar, made quite an impression. His bulked-up physique, long hair and beard gave him a fierce appearance. Mahavatar, helmed by Stree 2 director Amar Kaushik, is slated to hit the screens in 2026.
Ahead of Mahavatar, Vicky is all set to play another legendary character. He will reprise the life and times of Sambhaji Maharaj, in his next, Chhava, which releases this December. The actor won critical acclaim for his performances as the revolutionary, Udham Singh in Sardar Udham, and Field Marshal Sam Maneckshaw in Sam Bahadur.

Vicky’s hook step Tauba Tauba from his last, the rom-com Bad Newzz generated more buzz than the film itself. His upcoming slate of films includes Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s epic romance Love and War with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. Known for his knack for drama, comedy and romance, the actor is also experimental when it comes to his choice of projects.
