Madhuri Dixit turns serial killer
Having made a splash in the world of web series with The Fame Game (2022), where she played out a story of a famous person enslaving herself, come on board to another gripping character. Mid-day reports that the award-winning actress will join Nagesh Kukunoor’s upcoming psychological thriller.
This forthcoming series is reportedly named Mrs Deshpande and it has an intense storyline involving police requesting assistance from a serial killer to understand another killer’s modus operandi and catch him. It adds an international touch as this intriguing story is said to be based on a French series.
After his successful stint in Modern Love: Hyderabad, Nagesh Kukunoor shall also be seen back on streaming with Mrs Deshpande. He plans to start shooting for Mrs Deshpande after the rainy season ends having already done City of Dreams; his critically acclaimed Disney+ Hotstar series.
In addition to Mrs Deshpande, Madhuri Dixit-Nene will feature in Anees Bazmee’s much awaited Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. This film also stars Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, and Vidya Balan along with her has completed its shoot and it is scheduled for Diwali 2024 release date which implies that there are still many more exciting things lined up for Madhuri as she keeps fans eagerly waiting.
