Renowned singer Shaan launched the music of the upcoming Bollywood thriller Mission Grey House with a live performance of the soulful track "Yariyaan-Yariyaan," leaving audiences mesmerized. Known for his iconic voice, Shaan has lent his vocals to two memorable tracks in the film, which promise to elevate its suspenseful narrative.
Speaking about the music's role, Shaan remarked, “The songs in this film are not just melodies but integral to its narrative. While musical segments in thrillers are often minimal, Mission Grey House breaks the mould by blending suspense with unforgettable music.”
One of the standout tracks, "Yariyaan-Yariyaan," captures the essence of camaraderie and longing, beautifully delivered by Shaan. The song features soulful lyrics such as ‘Dur se paas ho gaye hai, ek dusre ke paas ho gaye hai,’ which Abeer Khan, the film's lead actor, has performed with great sincerity.
Praising Abeer’s performance, Shaan said, “In the song’s montage, Abeer had a jacket in his hand but acted effortlessly as if unfazed by the cold. His acting caliber shines through, and he performs effortlessly, bringing authenticity to the sequence.”
Abeer Khan, making his Bollywood debut with this film, shared his excitement and journey: “I was very nervous initially. I never thought acting would become my career. Playing Kabir wasn’t complicated, but I initially struggled to separate myself from my real personality. Over time, I connected deeply with the character and got into the skin of Kabir.”
When asked about comparisons to Ranbir Kapoor’s intense portrayal in Animal, Abeer clarified, “Kabir has shades of violence, but it’s far less than Ranbir Kapoor’s character in Animal.”
He also expressed gratitude to Shaan for lending his voice to his debut film. Recalling their first meeting, Abeer said, “Shaan sir jokingly remarked that I looked too young and suggested using his son’s voice instead. But I requested him to give my character his beautiful vocals, and he kindly agreed. It’s a dream come true for me.”
Directed by Naushad Siddiqui and produced under the Rafat Films Entertainment banner in collaboration with Reliance Entertainment, Mission Grey House is set to hit theatres on January 17, 2025. Alongside Abeer Khan and Pooja Sharma, the film boasts a stellar cast including Rajesh Sharma, Raza Murad, Nikhat Khan, and Kiran Kumar.
