Actress Urvashi Rautela heaps praises on Chiranjeevi
Hyderabad: Film actress Urvashi Rautela heaped praises on mega star Chiranjeevi for helping her mother Meenu Rautela’s during a medical emergency.
Speaking to a vernacular newspaper, she said Chiranjeevi was like a god to her and her family. The actress said that it was a small introduction role in which he acted with Chiranjeevi in ‘Waltair Veerayya’ film but the megastar supported her and her family during difficult times. “That’s why we consider him like a god and like a lighthouse to our strength,” she said.
Recently, Urvashi’s mother Meenu Rautela was hospitalized after suffering an intra-articular fracture in her left leg. When doctors said it was very dangerous, Urvashi approached Chiranjeevi and sought his help.
In response, Chiranjeevi immediately spoke to a doctors’ team at Apollo Hospital in Kolkata and ensured proper treatment. After doctors performed surgery, Meenu Rautela recovered. Responding to the successful medical treatment to her mother, Urvashi said that her family would be grateful to Chiranjeevi for the rest of her life.
“I heard a lot about Chiranjeevi’s service activities. I observed him a lot during the shooting of a song in ‘Waltair Veerayya’ movie. He provided a lot of help to those in need. That help also reached me. My mother had a big problem with her left leg bone. I couldn’t find a proper answer anywhere regarding treatment. Then I sought Chiranjeevi’s help. He told us to be fearless and like a guardian, he collected all the details related to my mother’s problem. He spoke to the Apollo staff in Kolkata and ensured that my mother got proper treatment,” she explained.
After the surgery, Chiranjeevi said, “Your mother is fine. She will be healthy. His words gave us a lot of courage at that time. He seemed like a true hero who gave our family a breath of fresh air. I cannot express the love and unwavering support he showed during difficult times. He proved that there is humanity on earth. He stood by us even in such a busy schedule. He kept us updated from time to time. He told us not to be shy about asking for anything. He seemed like a guardian to us. We will forever be grateful to Chiranjeevi for his help,” Urvashi, who became emotional, said.
Both Chiranjeevi and Urvashi appeared in the song “Where is the party basu in ‘Waltair Veerayya’ film released on January 13, 2023.
