Dil Raju apologises for his comments on Telangana style dawaat

Leading producer Dil Raju apologized for his comments against Telangana culture and dawath in a video today. “I am sorry if I have hurt someone with my comments,” says Dil Raju and adds, “I heard a lot of noise being made on social media about comments on Telangana dawath and food. I spoke about our culture at our recent event of ‘Sakranthiki Vasthunam’ in Nizamabad but it was misconstrued. At the end of the event, I also informed that I would be celebrating the release of two my films ‘Game Changer’ and ‘Sakranthiki Vasthunam’ by hosting a dawat in Telangana style and relish our distinct delicacies but it went unnoticed,’ he explains.

He claims that he hails from Nizamabad and adores Telaganana culture and festivities. “I am Telangana bida to the core,” he adds. He even shot his blockbuster film ‘Fidaa’ in Nizamabad and brought applause and respect for Telangana culture world over. “Bhanumathi character was Telangana-centric and also we hailed family bonding in our region in the film besides showcasing our unique culture and people to the world and received appreciation,” he points out.
He also reminisces about his other blockbuster ‘Balagam’ which was also based on family relationships in Telangana region. “Apart from the audience, political leaders from varied parties hailed our film and for its rooted story and characters. I would remain loyal and fruitful to our region,” he concludes
