Exhibitors to throw open theatres for Dil Raju movie?
Amidst the 10-day shutdown of theatres in Telangana state, some exhibitors have reportedly resolved to open 60-odd theatres to screen producer-distributor Dil Raju’s new film ‘Love Me ‘ on May 25. “We are planning to open one theatre each in 60 centers in Telangana state since Dil Raju is special for us,” says an exhibitor, who claims that Dil Raju who is also a distributor provides them feed for over 40 weeks in a year.
“He dons multiple hats and dishes out movies as producer and distributor as well. So, we can’t say no to his upcoming film “Love Me’ since it is his nephew Ashish Reddy's debut film and it is being produced by Dil Raju’s daughter Hanshitha Reddy,’ he informs. The film was hailed as a daring romantic comedy with Vaishnavi Chaitanya of ‘Baby’ fame playing his love interest. “But the shutdown of theatres will continue for some more time,” he informs.
Even Dil Raju, whose last films like ‘Family Star’ failed to set the box office on fire would be hoping to regain his winning streak with a new-age romance that revolves around a ghost and two lovers.
