Clad in a golden silk sari, Sobhita participated in pre-wedding rituals in Hyderabad on December 4 before tying the knot with Chaitanya in a traditional Telugu ceremony at Annapurna Studios in Banjara Hills.
The ceremony featured time-honored traditions like the Havan and Jaimaala. Sobhita looked stunning in a white saree with a red zari border during the rituals, while Chaitanya complemented her in an off-white kurta. One emotional highlight was when Chaitanya tied the mangalsutra around Sobhita’s neck, a moment that left both teary-eyed, with Sobhita seen wiping her tears.
The newlyweds later shared photos capturing these intimate moments, including a tender shot of Sobhita holding Chaitanya’s face. Another featured a group picture with Chaitanya's family, including Nagarjuna, Amala Akkineni, and Akhil Akkineni.
Sobhita and Chaitanya began dating in 2022 and got engaged on August 8 in Hyderabad. Their wedding celebrations started in October with the godhuma raayi papasu daanchtam ritual in Visakhapatnam, showcasing their connection to Telugu customs.
While the couple basks in their marital bliss, they remain active professionally. Naga Chaitanya will headline Chandoo Mondeti’s Thandel (2025) alongside Sai Pallavi.
