Geeta Arts to Release Telugu Version of Chhaava on March 7
Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the film, based on the life of the legendary Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has taken the nation by storm and is dominating the box office.

Leading production and distribution house Geeta Arts is bringing Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal’s historical action epic, Chhaava, to Telugu audiences. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, the film, based on the life of the legendary Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, has taken the nation by storm and is dominating the box office.
While Chhaava was originally released in Hindi, Telugu audiences have been eagerly awaiting its dubbed version. Now, Geetha Film Distribution has officially announced that it will release the Telugu version on March 7. With an extensive theatre network, the company has acquired the Telugu rights for a substantial amount and is planning a grand release.
Having already surpassed the ₹400 crore mark, Chhaava is currently the highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025 and is on track to cross ₹500 crore soon. Featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and an electrifying soundtrack composed by Oscar winner AR Rahman, the film promises to be a visual and musical spectacle for Telugu cinema lovers
