Geoffrey Rush has pulled out of an upcoming play he was a part of, citing ill health as the reason. According to reports on JustJared.com, the Melbourne Theatre Company received a statement from the actor that he is withdrawing from his role in the production of Twelfth Night amid “inappropriate behaviour” accusations made by actress Eryn Jean Norvill.
“Due to my current circumstances and medical advice, I must withdraw from the upcoming project,” Geoffrey told the company. Geoffrey is currently suing The Daily Telegraph over the article the newspaper published alleging the behaviour.
