Bryan Cranston honoured at Maui Film Festival
The 60-year-old, Bryan Cranston, was the recipient of this year’s Navigator Award at the 2016 Maui Film Festival at Wailea, Hawaii. The Trumbo actor, proudly posed with his award during the film festival.
Barry Rivers, the founder of the event, said in a statement: “It’s not often that an actor with the depth, wisdom and range of someone like Bryan Cranston comes along. But, when they do, it’s undeniably exciting and a joy to watch.”
Barry added, “The Maui Film Festival is over the moon about having Cranston join us on Maui and to be honored with the 2016 Navigator Award.”
Apart from Cranston, Wyatt Russell, Kelly Rohrbach, Michael B. Jordan and Viola Davis were also honoured at the Maui Film Festival. Kelly and Wyatt were presented the Rising Star Award. Whereas, Michael was presented with the Rainmaker Award and Viola also with the Navigator Award, according to JustJared.com.
