Kanye West's Tidal boost
Jay Z and Kanye West may collaborate a lot on their music, but now Jay has one more thing to be thankful to Kanye about — doubling his music service Tidal’s subscription base! According to TMZ.com’s sources, Kanye’s decision to release his new album The Life of Pablo exclusively on the music streaming service led to the app seeing an increase in subscribers from around 1 million to 2.5 million in less than two weeks.
It’s said that Tidal could also see up to at least $15 million in additional revenue thanks to the new subscribers, with Kanye only now thinking about releasing physical copies of the album.
Kris has had enough
Sources close to the Kardashian family have revealed that Kris Jenner is tired of son-in-law Kanye West’s attention-seeking behaviour and even confronted daughter Kim Kardashian about it. “Kris told Kim that she was concerned over his outbursts, his tweets and unnecessary attention-seeking,” the source told People, adding that Kris wanted Kim to “stop being so into herself” and make sure that Kanye is okay. While Kim reportedly told Kris to “butt out”, the sources also said that Kris still “loves Kanye like a son and has always felt a need take care of him”
