Legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was in a cheerful mood and was cracking jokes with host Rana Daggubati at an event and began his speech, saying “I didn’t go to school with Naga Ashwin,” he quips and heaps praise on the team of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. “It was a wonderful experience working in a setup where they were thinking beyond what we otherwise do in the film industry, ‘he adds. He claims that the sci-fi thriller starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone is ahead of time, “It truly ahead of time and it is a great honor to be part of such an unusual and path-breaking setting, which I haven’t done or imagined before,” he informs.
He congratulates director Nag Ashwin for his futuristic thinking and production team for executing such a massive project, which was a ‘great effort’. "I'll talk more in the subsequent events," he concludes
