Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar is planning to join hands with Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth and Telugu star Balakrishna to make a big ticket entertainer very soon.
“Shiva Rajkumar wanted to do a pan-India project and approached Rajinikanth and Balakrishna to act together, and both stars have agreed in principle,” says a source, adding that the actor’s aim is to produce a magnum opus that befits the status of his illustrious family. If it works out, it could be one of the biggest films from south, after KGF and RRR.
Reportedly, Shiva Rajkumar agreed to do cameos in Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satkarni and Rajinikanth’s Jailer as a gesture of friendship towards these stars, and also to lay the ground for working with them some time in the future. “His presence in Jailer was well appreciated by the audience and his performance in the climax drew huge applause from even Tamil viewers as he saved Rajini’s family with his inimitable swag and style,” the source says.
The proposed movie will be helmed by top Kannada director Nimma Harsha, who is currently engaged in making the cop story Bheema with Gopichand in Telugu. “Harsha has delivered blockbusters like Bhajarangi 2 and Vedha in the Kannada film industry and he is adept at dishing out star-studded action dramas. He is readying a larger-than-life script to match the humongous status of Rajinikanth and Balakrishna to impress both their fans,” the source concludes.
