Avane Srimannarayana has a universal appeal: Rakshit Shetty
After Kannada actor Yash hit the jackpot by releasing his film KJF in multiple languages including Hindi, here is yet another Kannada actor/filmmaker Rakshit Shetty who is making a similar attempt with his movie Avane Srimannarayana, a fantasy adventure comedy movie. The film is being released in Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.
“It has a universal appeal that can provide wholesome entertainment for audiences across demographics,” says Rakshit.
He adds, “The story packs enough chills, thrills and laughs for anyone to have a good time. Set in the fictional town of ‘Amaravathi’ (a town with its own quirky sensibilities and a unique geography), it can be a town set almost anywhere in India, making Narayana an Indian story rather than a story of a particular state.
It is a period movie based on the journey for the hunt of a treasure filled with mystery. The movie will be presented as a new genre by name - ‘southern odd fiction’. We’ve always had gunslinger stories, cop stories, little town stories, ASN is a unique blend of all of these with an added flavor of its own.”
Directed by Sachin, the film will see Rakshit as a cop and giving him company is Shanvi Srivatsava.
