Nadhiya, the dream girl of the ‘80s who had shared screen space with the likes of Rajinikanth, made her small screen debut in mega soap Roja that’s aired on Sun TV at 9 p.m. Though Nadhiya was seen as an anchor in a game show almost a decade ago, this is the first time she will be seen in a serial.
Nadhiya quit acting after marriage and returned to acting after almost two-decades, with M Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi as hero Jayam Ravi’s mother. With the film turning out to be a hit, she continued her stint in films but was choosy.
The powerhouse performer is now testing the waters in small screen. The makers of Roja state that Nadhiya will only be making a special appearance in it, but it will be a turning point in the story and create a huge impact.
