Director Lakshman’s Bogan, which had Arvind Swami and Jayam Ravi in lead roles is getting remade in Telugu. The latest scoop is that the remake might star Catherine Tresa as the heroine. Lakshman is also helming the Telugu film which has Ravi Teja in the lead role.
In Tamil, Hansika played the female lead and was paired opposite Ravi in the film. Now, it is rumoured that Catherine Tresa, will be reprising her in the Telugu version.
But when contacted, Lakshman says, the casting process is still under way and it is too early to reveal anything “We are on our way in the casting process. As of now, only talks are being initiated for the female lead.”
Lakshman also confirmed that the Telugu project will have some changes in comparison to Bogan “The second half will be a bit
different. The power that the lead character possess will be even more intense in the Telugu version. So, that will impart major changes in the way the film shapes up.”
He further reveals that the film will be wrapped up in three months. “We will be going on floors in November and are planning to finish it in 90 days since we will be shooting in one go,” he concludes.
