We all know that Tamil filmmakers dumped the once-reigning comedian Vadivelu when he made untoward remarks about the present Chief Minister in the 2012 elections. Looks like the actor who was once only accepting hero roles, has had a change of mind and is now doing what he is best at — comedy.
See what he had to say at the launch of the Vishal-Tamannah starrer Kaththi Sandai produced by Nandagopal, where he returns in a comic role. “I am ready to sign full-fledged comedy characters in films with big heroes. I will also do films if anyone approaches me with a lead hero role. I am confident that director Suraj, who is known for his comic sense would offer me a meaty role in Kaththi Sandai as I have teamed up with him twice.”
Vishal added, “I have a different dimension to my character in KS. Vadivelu and I joined hands nine years ago in Thimiru and the combo worked out well. As his fan, I am also looking forward to his comedy,” Surprisingly, yet another comedian Soori who is the current toast of the town in K’town has also been roped in!
