Director Ram Bala of Lollu Sabha fame ventured into films with a horror comedy titled Dhilluku Dhuddu starring Santhanam.
After the film’s success, the director has now finalised his next film. He will be teaming up with PS Raghunanthan of 2MB Productions, who is currently bankrolling Thittam Pottu Thirudara Kootam.
For his next project, Ram Bala is teaming up with Kayal Chandran for a comedy entertainer. A source in the know tells us, “Actress Reba Monica John of Jacobinte Swargarajyam fame plays the heroine in this film, which will go on floors sometime this month. Since this film is a laugh riot, the team has also roped in Urvashi, Mano Bala and Livingston to take care of the comedy sequences. Mundasupatti Ramadoss plays the second lead.”
Music director Santhosh Dayanithi, who worked in Inimey Ippadithaan and Kattapava Kaanom, has been roped in to score the tunes. He tweeted, “ Signed my next with Chandran in the lead, directed by Ram Bala . Thrilled to start composing music for this venture.” (sic)
Shooting of this film will happen in Chennai, Karaikudi and Puducherry (the climax portions will be shot there). The official announcement regarding the cast and the title will be out on November 9.
